We are so excited to bring you a new amazing opportunity! We have put together the most comprehensive Tennis Performance Program ever offered at Druid Hills Golf Club. We have combined our professionals from the Tennis and Fitness Departments to lend their expertise to improve your tennis game. In this program, you will have access to our Tennis Professionals for tennis instruction, our Fitness Professionals for tennis specific fitness programming, and our Medical Professionals for treatment of current injuries holding you back as well as injury prevention to keep you playing at your best.

Here’s how it works:

·      Register here or contact Rhett Roberson at rhett@clubphysicaltherapy.com or 706-255-1150

·      You will be scheduled for a Tennis Performance Assessment performed by one of our Doctors of Physical Therapy to access your body’s capabilities and limitations as they relate to your tennis. You will be provided with the results of this assessment, and those results will be shared with the Tennis Performance Team at DHGC.

·      You will then have the option to connect with a Tennis Professional individually to evaluate your tennis game or to participate in the group Tennis Clinics offered at the club. If you choose to pursue individual instruction, they will make recommendations as to the adjustments that need to be made in your game and will suggest the frequency of instruction needed to help you meet your goals.

·      The next step will be to get started with Tennis Fitness. You will have the option to meet with our Fitness Professional who will work with you on a fitness program to help you improve your speed, power and agility. Or you can participate in our new Tennis fitness class offered on Tuesdays and Fridays at 12:30. If you choose individual personal training, our fitness professional will use results of your Tennis Performance Assessment and any additional fitness assessment they gather to personalize a program for you to maximize your body’s potential and directly influence your tennis game.

·      Recommendations will be made as to what timeframe (3 months, 6 months, etc.) would be appropriate for a re-assessment based on your individual results. The re-assessment will provide you with objective information on your improvement within the Tennis Performance Program.

This team-based approach for Tennis Performance is used by many professional tennis players around the world and has been proven successful at the highest levels. We want to bring that opportunity to DHGC to help you achieve your tennis potential!

Already working with one of our departments for fitness or tennis instruction? No problem! Let us tie it all together for you and provide you with an assessment and build the team around you to enhance the steps that you have already taken toward a better tennis game.
