Dr. Jamie Fisher Berkowitz received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Indiana University Bloomington in 2009 and acquired her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016. She completed the Orthopedic Residency Program from BenchMark Rehab Institute in 2018 and became a board certified Orthopedic Clinic Specialist (OCS) in 2019.
Dr. Berkowitz holds advanced training and certifications in dry needling, thrust manipulation, and vestibular rehabilitation. Dr. Berkowitz served as a clinic director of an orthopedic clinic in Atlanta for several years while also teaching and mentoring many new therapists and physical therapy students. She focuses on clinical excellence through evidence-based manual therapy interventions and goal-driven functional exercise to achieve the highest outcomes for orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, and injury prevention.
Jamie enjoys playing golf with her husband, Brian, and her family all over the country and Atlanta area, and is hoping to pass along the golfing genes to her son, Brodie. Jamie grew up playing soccer and gymnastics, and keeps up with all sports on TV, especially college gymnastics and IU basketball. Jamie also enjoys exploring and eating at the many great restaurants around the Atlanta area, and going on scenic walks with her dog, Groot.
